What

A Bioblitz is a community science event where participants work together to identify and document as many living species as possible within a specific area and timeframe.

Over three days, residents and visitors will use the iNaturalist app to record observations of:

  • The history of the region  (en français seulement)  July 24th
  • Plants
  • Birds
  • Insects
  • Mammals
  • Amphibians
  • Fungi
  • Aquatic life
  • Other wild organisms

Together, we’ll create a living inventory of McGregor Lake’s biodiversity and contribute valuable information that can help us better understand, appreciate, and protect the environment we all share.
